CONTEST PERIOD
May 1 – July 31, 2024
PRIZE
You are competing to win the opportunity to attend Cash Bash, which includes 4 days/3 nights’ accommodations for one person at the Wynn Las Vegas hotel, round-trip coach airfare and transfers, meal allowance and an invitation to the welcome reception and Cash Bash dinner event. You are also competing to win pulls at the Cash Bash pull board.
HOW TO WIN TRIPS & PULLS
You win one (1) trip for every 1000 points accrued during the contest period. You win one (1) pull for every 100 points accrued during the contest period. "Pulls" are the opportunity to "pull" or draw an amount off a cash board prepared by the JM&A Group. Points are earned by selling these products:
4 Points - Mechanical Failure Service Contracts
2 Points - Prepaid Maintenance Plans (excludes maintenance registration products)
1 Point - Road Hazard Tire Contracts
2 Points - Total Loss Protection Contracts
2 Points - Term Care Select Contracts
1 Point - Xzilon Contracts
1 Point - Paintless Dent Repair Contracts
1 Point - Excess Wear & Tear
ENROLLMENT
- You must be enrolled to compete and win. All dealers in a group must compete under the same point structure.
- Related Dealers should compete as a group, where possible. However, large groups must be broken into smaller groups for the contest period and high-volume stores within a dealer group should compete individually to maximize trip allotment. All earned Cash Bash trips and pulls will be sent to the Master dealership to distribute amongst the dealers at its discretion. Please note that if a dealer within the group withdraws from the contest at any point, the points accumulated by that dealer will be forfeited by the group and will not be included in the group total. Unrelated stores must also be entered into the enrollment system in order to compete in Cash Bash.
- Unrelated dealers can compete as a group for trips. However, specific contest rules will apply. These rules must be added by your JM&A Group Field Representative to the enrollment system and approved by each dealer’s authorized signer. If only one Cash Bash trip is earned by the group, the trip will be awarded to the store with the highest point total. If more than one Cash Bash trip is earned, the trips will be awarded to the stores that earned the highest points. For example, where three Cash Bash trips are earned, the Cash Bash trips will be awarded to the three stores with the highest point totals. If a store is awarded a Cash Bash trip but declines to accept, the Cash Bash trip will then be awarded to the store with the next highest point total. Unrelated dealers cannot compete as a group for pulls. Pulls earned is based on each dealer individually.
- Withdrawing from the contest: Requests to withdraw must be made in writing and must be approved by JM&A Group. If a dealer withdraws from the contest within 45 days of the contest start date, the dealer’s contribution toward the contest, if any, will be refunded. No refunds are available for requests to withdraw made more than 45 days after the contest start date.
TRIPS
- There are four trips available per dealer or dealer group. Trips may not be transferred between unrelated dealerships.
- If a dealer earns 75% or more of the points needed to earn a trip, the dealer may request permission to purchase the remaining 25% of the points needed to earn the trip after the contest period has ended. Please submit such requests to the Event Marketing department. Requests will be considered based on availability. The purchased points cannot be used for pulls.
POINTS
- Cancelled contracts: Dealers accrue points based on contracts sold net of cancellations. In other words, cancellations of contracts sold during the contest period will be deducted from your accumulated points. The dealer will be charged back for any award(s) improperly awarded based on this recalculation.
- Points from individual or group enrollments cannot be combined after registration.
PULLS
- Pulls cannot be purchased or transferred and are awarded solely based on points earned.
- Announcement of winning dealers: Dealers that win pulls (or receive a split or percentage of pulls earned by a group) will be called on stage to make their pulls during Cash Bash. If you choose not to attend Cash Bash, your dealer name will not be announced at the event.
- Pulls can be shared with other dealers within a group provided the split is requested from your JM&A Field Representative and involves only whole numbers. That is, portions of pulls cannot be split. Additionally, JM&A Group rounds down for pulls. For example, if a dealer has earned 410 points and pulls require 100 points each, the dealer will be awarded 4 pulls.
- Winners are not required to attend the trip in order to redeem pulls. JM&A Group will make pulls on behalf of absent dealers. Checks for absent winners will be mailed directly to the dealer address as provided on the approved pull distribution form. In order to have a dealer representative pull on behalf of the dealer, there has to be at least 1% of the total earned from the split pulls or 1 pull going back to the dealership.
TRAVEL-RELATED RULES
- Each trip is for one adult, 21 years of age or older.
- You must travel with the group on at least one group date to qualify for group airline tickets. Airline tickets cannot be requested until the contest is over and the winner has registered.
- Requests to bring an adult guest must be made during the registration period. Requests will be considered based on availability after the contest period ends. The winner must pay all airfare and all other costs associated with the adult guest’s travel prior to airline ticketing.
- No animals, other than service animals, will be permitted at any part of Cash Bash.
- All travel deviations/upgrade requests must be made in writing during online registration. If the deviation/upgrade results in additional charges, you must pay those charges (via credit card or incentive funds) before tickets can be released to you.
- If you chose to extend your trip, the necessary accommodations and/or transportation are your responsibility. You must let us know that you plan to extend the trip in your online travel registration form. Once received, a JM&A program planner will contact you to assist.
- Winners should not purchase airline tickets on their own and will not be reimbursed for doing so.
- Everyone attending Cash Bash will have an individual digital QR code during the in-person registration. The QR codes will be scanned at various points throughout the event to track attendance. All attendees will be required to have their QR code throughout the trip.
THINGS THAT MAY PREVENT YOU FROM ATTENDING CASH BASH, EVEN IF YOU WIN
- Lapsed Administrative Agreements: The Dealer’s Administrative Agreement with JM&A Group must be in effect through the contest period and travel dates. Points accrued and funds contributed by the dealer toward a trip will be forfeited if the Administrative Agreement is no longer in effect as of the travel date.
- Past Due Balances: Stores with an accounts receivable balance that is more than thirty days past due as of the date of ticketing forfeit any trips or pulls earned during the contest period.
- Employment Status: Winner must be employed by the Dealer during the entire contest period and at time of travel.
- Age: Winners (and their guests, if any) must be 21 years of age or older.
- Deadlines: All deadlines will be strictly enforced. Missing a deadline may mean you miss the trip.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Contest funding: This contest will be funded by Jim Moran & Associates, Inc. and its affiliated companies as well as dealership incentive funds. Trips, pulls and points have no cash value. Refunds of the dealer’s and/or JM&A Group’s contribution toward the contest are not available even if the dealer does not achieve enough points to win or forfeits a trip.
- Release: Everyone attending Cash Bash will be required to sign a Release during online registration.
- Taxes: Winners, as noted on the online registration form, will be solely responsible for all taxes associated with the trip, pulls, winnings and awards. These charges cannot be split or sent to the store instead. If a winner shares a room with another winner, both winners will be responsible for the full 1099 charge for each individual winner trip, including room.
- Disputes: Should there be any dispute over the distribution of trips and/or pulls following the dealer’s online approval, all winnings will automatically be awarded to the dealer and the dealer will need to resolve the dispute without JM&A Group’s involvement following the trip.
- Indemnification: By enrolling, Dealer agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold JM&A Group and its affiliated companies harmless from any and all claims made by Dealer's employees or agents (present or former) for compensation due under this contest.
- No substitution of award is permitted except at the discretion of JM&A Group. Awards cannot be sold, transferred or assigned by the winner.
- No waiver by JM&A Group of any of the above Terms and Conditions shall be construed as a waiver of such terms in the future.
- JM&A Group and/or Dealer reserve the right to cancel this contest and/or amend the Terms and Conditions at any time. Void where prohibited.
